Host400 includes many features that turn the AS/400 into a flexible and efficient platform for communicating with clients and business interests worldwide. Users take advantage of Graphnet's wide array of enhanced messaging options, including broadcast, scheduled and off-peak delivery, custom cover pages, and more.

Host400 automatically retrieves, stores and displays document delivery or cancellation messages so that users can easily view the status of their fax or telex messages. Host400 service can be accessed via dial-up, X.25, SDLC/SNA, or ISDN at speeds of up to 64Kbps.

Users easily create and manage their own address books and broadcast lists, using abbreviations for both individual destinations and lists. The software features three-level sending priority, an integrated scheduler, configurable user-access privileges, one standard menu for fax and telex messages, and a wide range of options that maximize productivity and reduce fax and telex costs. For multilingual organizations, each Host400 user may elect to have menus and context-sensitive help screens appear in English, Spanish, French or German.

Host400 is configured and managed entirely from SAA-compliant menus and function keys with detailed, context-sensitive help screens. A straightforward and well-documented API allows users of custom applications to be brought on-line quickly with a minimal amount of technical support.

Host400 gateway software is supplied on any AS/400-compatible media. Installation is simplified with user-friendly documentation that guides the AS/400 administrator through configuration and application programming.

Graphnet's international, value-added fax delivery service is the largest, most reliable network of its kind with points of presence in over 20 countries around the world.

Graphnet's rates are highly competitive, with international rates typically between 20% and 30% lower than those of traditional voice carriers. And, our customers pay only for documents that are successfully delivered. Voice answers and unexpected disconnects common to international fax over traditional telephone lines are not billed.
