MPW, a desktop fax software package for enterprise users, seamlessly integrates
with any Windows standalone or LAN platform. It provides diversified access
to Graphnet's worldwide fax network while preserving the user's ability
to benefit from native operating system facilities.

A Comprehensive Fax Solution
- MPW focuses on important user requirements for simplified fax solutions.
In the MPW implementation, Graphnet addresses functions most critical to
the end user:
-
Broadcast List Management
-
Cover Page Generation
-
FaxMerge
-
TIFF Printer Drivers
-
Realtime Tracking and Control
-
Transport/Connectivity

Broadcast List Management
- The MPW address book is designed for privacy and security. It incorporates
a hierarchical structure for personal, departmental and corporate access.
The address book function provides destination filtering and select-by-query
capabilities. Once selected, frequently-used destination lists can be saved
and edited for increased productivity. All address books are linked--changes
made to one destination's properties are automatically applied to all lists
containing that particular destination.
MPW can directly access existing corporate address book databases without
importing. In addition, MPW incorporates predefined mappings for direct
use of address book databases contained in contact management programs
such as ACT!, GoldMine and Maximizer.

Cover Page Generation
- MPW includes a comprehensive set of editing tools to create professional
cover pages, complete with corporate logos, high-quality graphics and text.
Multiple cover pages can be generated for use in different applications,
and users may select a different cover page each time a document is sent.
Cover pages may be included with destinations in the MPW address book so
that the specified cover pages are invoked automatically when the destination
is selected. Clients may designate a default cover page for personal, departmental
or corporate-wide application.

FaxMerge
- MPW FaxMerge provides for extensive and flexible customization of fax
documents. It automatically inserts individualized information from various
data fields into each recipient's message. Fields may be merged in any
font, on any page of the document, and there is no limit to the number
of fields or recipients. FaxMerge supports Windows applications using a
variety of database products such as ACT!, Goldmine, DBASE, Lotus 1,2,3
and Excel. Any OBDC-compatible database can be used as a merge data file
for the fax document. With MPW FaxMerge, users enhance the quality of their
documents without trading off the performance of the broadcast.

Tiff Printer Drivers
- MPW printer drivers enable users to create and send fax documents from
any application in Windows 3.1, Windows95, Windows NT 3.51, and Windows
NT 4.0 environments. In addition to a standard TIFF fax printer driver,
MPW offers high-precision printer drivers for graphic-intensive applications.

Realtime Tracking and Control
- The MPW message status log provides users with real time tracking of
their fax messages. The status log contains information on delivered and
in-progress messages. For each delivered message, the log provides a message
reference number, the destination fax number, time of delivery, duration,
and the received fax machine ID. For each message in-progress the log provides
the status received from the most recent delivery attempt.

Transport/Connectivity
- MPW connects to Graphnet's fax network at speeds of up to 28.8 Kbps
using standard dial-up modems, up to 128 kbps using an ISDN modem and up
to T1 (1.54 Mbps) or E1 (2 Mbps) for dedicated connections. The combined
impact of Graphnet's worldwide fax network with MPW permits the multinational
enterprise to have a unified, standard MPW fax solution.
