Users transmit faxes directly from a desktop computer. FaxCentral then performs retries as needed and provides delivery or cancellation notices, if requested. Printing documents and manually faxing them from a busy, shared fax machine is eliminated; time spent resending or tracking down a fax is put to more productive use.
Since FaxCentral uses Graphnet's worldwide messaging service and global network to deliver fax documents, organizations save transmission costs by avoiding expensive and unreliable long distance telephone calls.
For tight integration into existing operations, the FaxCentral message database links to existing billing and administrative databases. Organizations can track, analyze and manage messaging costs, and IAPs can integrate fax messaging fees into their customer billing systems.
Corporate users as well as IAP subscribers can use a standard web browser interface to query FaxCentral for immediate status of their point-to-point or broadcast fax transmissions. If a fax is canceled, users can simply resend the document or forward it to another destination.
